A: No, these Shingles have UV inhibitors that guard it against harmful UV rays and will otturnbrittle
after being in the sun for long periods of time. |

A: NewTech TM Shingles retain their color very well. Over time, you can expect a less than 10%
fade ratio. |

A: Wind generally causes little or no problem with NewTech TM Shingles. They have passed the
110 mph Miami Dade County wind driven rain test. Each shingle is also nailed 4 times due to
overlap. This makes NewTech TM Shingles strong against the wind. |

9: Do you sell caps and ridge pieces ?
A: No, using NewTech TM shingles avoids a need for them, as our shingles are very pliable and
canbend to fit the areas such as valleys, ridges, and caps. |

10: Do I need to use any special layer underneath my NewTech TM Shingles ?
A: No such layer is needed. However, we recommend using 30 pound felt as your underlayment.. |

11: If I need to cut these Shingles, can I ?
A: Yes, they are very easy to cut. This can be done with a razor knife. |

12: How do I install the starter piece ?
A: It is very simple. Just overlap two layers of NewTech TM Shingles for the first layer, and that
becomes your starter piece for the roof. |

13: Could I use a nail gun ?
A: Yes you can use a nail gun. However, before you do , test out on a Shingle to make sure your
pressure is not too high as high pressure may destroy the Shingle. |

A: NewTech TM Shingles have a class 4 impact rating making them very resistant to hail damage
and tree branch damage. |

16: Besides nails, what else do you need to hold NewTechTM Shingles together ?
A: Nothing! NewTech TM Shingles adhere to themselves in the heat of the sun. After some time in
the sun, they will become one layer on your roof. |

A: No. The Shingles are individually wrapped with a film to prevent this from happening. |

18: Won't it be diffcult to pull off if they attach to each other ?
A: The Shingles can be taken out with a razor knife and taken out and replaced with another if
need be. |

19: Will there be any noise problem ?
A: No. Our Shingles are not hollowed back but rather, are solid all the way through. Thus, they are
sound deafing and not prone to creating noise like metal roofing can be. |
